14 Pounds Lost in 2011!

We've almost reached the end of the first month of 2011, and I've lost 14 pounds so far this year!I am starting to feel better. I have more energy during the day and my clothes are feeling a little more comfortable.

Below, are the guidelines that I have implemented. I have not been strictly adhering to these guidelines, but each day it is my goal to follow the basic plan that I have developed. There is no sense in beating yourself up if you feel like you ate too many calories or too many carbs one day. Just try to do better the next day. So far I've lost 14 pounds in 2011, and I haven't been starving myself, and I've been eating good food!

I eat 2 to 4 Medifast meals a day.

1 to 3 meals a day I eat regular food. I restrict carbohydrates for 1 or both of these meals. If I choose I can eat carbs without restriction for 1 meal.

1 day a week, I eat whatever I want.

If I mess up on a non-cheat day, I don't beat myself up and I get back on track.
