30 Pounds Lost in 3 Weeks on Medifast!

Last week I weighed-in at 365 pounds. Today I weighed-in at 358 pounds. I lost 7 pounds this week, and have lost a total of 30 pounds in 3 weeks! I have lost a total of 7.7% of my body weight in 3 weeks! Can you see the big smile on my face? I almost feel a sense of relief right now-like I'm relieved that I'm finally going to lose all the weight I've been carrying around.

2/23/09 Medifast Diet Day 15

I’m happy to report that I lost another 4 pounds this past week. That brings my two week total to 23 pounds lost. My percentage of body weight lost is 5.9%. I am at a point now where the only thing that can stop me is myself. The intense cravings that I had two weeks ago are gone. There is no reason why I shouldn't’t be able to see this through and lose all the weight.

2/26/09 Medifast Diet Day 18


There hasn’t been much to report this week. I have added a little light exercise to my life. Today I did some jump roping and light weightlifting. I would really like to start jogging again, and I would really like to make weight lifting a permanent part of my exercise regiment. I was once at a point where I had a healthy addiction to jogging and to a lesser extent weight lifting. My hope is that I continue to lose weight with Medifast, and as exercise gets easier, I stick with it. There really are no excuses anymore. At this point it would be only self-sabotage or laziness that would keep me from losing all the weight and becoming athletic. We all have different goals. I want to be thin and athletic. I want to play basketball again, and run a 5k or 10k. Maybe even a marathon someday. Why not?

3/1/09 Medifast Diet Day 21

It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 weeks already. It has been a long time since I put together 3 consecutive weeks of healthy eating. I’m happy that it’s March and spring is right around the corner. This year I’ll be able to get out and enjoy the summer weather. This year I’ll be jogging again on a regular basis and playing some basketball.
